Eataly
Ok, so I was tired from traveling today and did not feel like (or have time) to stand over the stove and make a homemade sauce. I usually make mine from scratch with fresh ingredients and let simmer for a few hours. Tonight, I stopped by Eataly and picked up one of Lidia Bastianich's jar sauces.
I ended up purchasing the Tuscan Pepper, which I thought would be a blend of bell peppers (red, green, orange) but it was loaded with crushed red pepper. I'm a huge fan of spicy food and I do add crushed red pepper flakes to my sauce, but this packed way too much heat!

Sono Baking Company
Every time I go to Connecticut, I make sure and stop by Sono Baking Company to pick up a little something sweet.
Today I had the Chocolate Ginger and Cranberry Oatmeal Pecan cookies.
Owner, John Barricelli has this amazing new cookbook which includes many of the delicious sweet and savory baked goods sold in the bakery. If you are ever in South Norwalk(Sono) Connecticut, you have to stop by and try it!
